June 11 2012 – Three quarters of mobile subscribers are unable to get the data speeds they want during peak times in busy locations, a study from Actix has found.
By analyzing data from a live 3G network in a major city, the mobile network analytics and optimization specialist discovered hotspots of demand from smartphones at train and bus stations generate up to 100 times more network load than immediately adjacent areas.
