Scott Collins, Chairman

Scott Collins is a General Partner with Summit Partners, a leading private equity and venture capital firm with nearly $9 billion (US) in assets under management and offices in London, Boston and Palo Alto, and Managing Director of Summit Partners Limited, the firm’s London office which he established in 2001. Scott joined Summit Partners in 1996 and has served on the boards of directors of numerous companies in the technology, communications, healthcare and other growth industries. Before joining Summit Partners, Scott worked at McKinsey & Company, the White House, the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Department of Transportation. Scott earned an A.B. degree in economics, magna cum laude, from Harvard College and a J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School.

Scott joined the board of Actix International in March 2005.
 

Bill McHale, Chief Executive Officer

Bill McHale has been a partner at Argo Global Capital, a venture capital firm specializing in the telecom and wireless sectors, since 2006. He is a BOD member at Neural Technologies Ltd., PhyFlex and uReach Technologies and is the CEO of Argo Gasification Technologies, a company aimed at the clean-coal sector. In 1998, as the CEO of DSET Corp., he led the company through a successful IPO on NASDAQ. Bill is a graduate of the Villanova School of Business and resides in Boston, Massachusetts.

Bill joined the board of Actix International in May 2007, and in January 2009 was the only international citizen to be short-listed in the annual UK non-executive Director of the year awards, where his exceptional contribution and qualities were publicly recognized.

Rob Dobson, Non-Executive Director

Rob Dobson is the founder of and driving force behind the successful growth of Actix. He created the company to focus on wireless performance engineering solutions in 1991, and has worked with many of the world’s leading mobile operators and infrastructure vendors as both CEO and CTO to build the business into the international leader it is today. He holds a 1st class honours degree in Electronic Engineering.

Rob joined the board of Actix International in March 2005.
 

Joachim Samuelsson, Non-Executive Director

Joachim Samuelsson joined Actix in February 2004 on Actix’s acquisition of ComOpt AB, and he has worked within the business to maintain and grow customer relationships around the globe. Joachim founded ComOpt in 1996 and as managing director led the company through to a leadership position in the automated optimization solutions marketplace. His achievements led to the award of ’Entrepreneur of the Year’ in Sweden in 2003.

Joachim joined the board of Actix International in January 2007.
 

Sotiris Lyritzis, Secretary

Sotiris Lyritzis is a General Partner in the London office with Summit Partners, and also serves as vice president. He joined Summit Partners from JP Morgan where he held a multitude of roles. He was also co-founder of Elabseurope, an internet procurement solution for the European life sciences industry. Sotiris holds a B.A. from Cambridge University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.

Sotiris joined the board of Actix International in March 2005.
