Actix secures landmark 60th LTE customer
Actix mobile network analytics and optimization software deployed on over half of worldwide LTE networks
London, UK. May 16 2012: Actix, the world leader in mobile network analytics and optimization, announced it has secured its 60th customer for its LTE Network Acceptance solution. As the pace of LTE rollouts increases Actix is already supporting most of Europe, Asia and North America’s early deployments.
Actix study into iPad and smartphone usage on 3G networks reveals the way we use mobile devices is changing
- Mobile phones are not mobile - majority of smartphones and iPads are used indoors
- iPads account for 4 times more traffic than an average 3G device
London, April 30, 2012 – The vast majority of mobile traffic from smartphones and tablets comes from indoor usage, a study from Actix has found. By analyzing data from a live 3G network in a major city, the mobile network analytics and optimization specialist has found that only 5% of iPads are used outdoors and whilst iPads account for just 1% of data sessions, they use four times more data than an average 3G device.
New Actix customer experience analytics delivers actionable intelligence for mobile operators

February 22 2012: Actix has today released Customer Experience Analytics (CEA), a new addition to the ActixOne platform’s suite of solutions that allows mobile network operators to see exactly which subscribers are being negatively impacted by the RAN’s performance, their location and the device they’re using. This information, along with additional business data such as billing records to determine which customers are VIPs, customer complaint records and other data sources, can be combined into a single view, giving the operator meaningful insight into each customer’s experience.

London, February 13, 2012 - Actix, a leader in mobile network analytics and optimization solutions, today announced record-breaking revenue levels for its fiscal year ending January 31, 2012. During the year, Actix revenues grew 29% resulting in total revenues of over $52M as the number of active customers surpassed 400. In addition, the company’s profit increased by 35%, cash increased over 20% and more than 50 new employees were added to the company’s roster, bringing the total to over 250.

Tier-1 Middle East mobile operator selects Actix to streamline optimization
