Rules Engine

The ActixOne Rules Engine provides automated problem detection and diagnosis analytics that improve the accuracy and speed of identifying and correcting issues. ActixOne can detect problems that result in data and voice service problems and poor subscriber experience, diagnosing whether the underlying causes is network related, due to low capacity or is specific to an individual subscriber/handset. The Rules Engine operates off of statistics and events derived from network OSS data and air-Interface statistics and events derived from subscriber trace and drive survey data.

Sophisticated rules implement best-practice analytics to identify problems and determine root causes.

Air-Interface Diagnostics

Air-interface diagnostics detect and diagnose individual data session & call events from layer 3 messages contained in drive survey and subscriber trace data. The diagnostics are driven by a flexible event engine that ships with pre-built diagnostics for 2G, 3G and 4G technologies. Each diagnosis provides a detailed explanation of the underlying cause and recommended actions. Individual data session and call events can be investigated and layer 3 messages replayed to confirm diagnoses.

Rules based on air-interface event engines automatically diagnose RF causes of service problems.

Diagnostic Rule Packs

Diagnostic rule packs are available for both pro-active and reactive checks on the performance, availability and quality of voice and data networks. Rule packs may be configured to conform to operator-specific processes. In addition, custom rules may be rapidly designed using our flexible, Java-based rules language and API.

Pro-active and re-active rule categories.
